Client Feature: Jessika Dolph — Pennsylvania Elopement Photographer

One of my favorite things about Showit templates is how much life they have beyond their original purpose. A design can start in one industry and, with thoughtful customization, become something entirely new—and deeply aligned.

That’s exactly what happened with Jessika Dolph, an elopement photographer based in Pennsylvania.

For Jessika’s new website we used my Abby Rae Showit Template, originally designed for travel planners and content creators, and transformed it into a warm, romantic, and editorial website that fits her photography brand beautifully. This project is a perfect example of how versatile Showit templates can be when paired with clarity and intention.

About Jessika

Jessika is an elopement photographer serving couples who want their wedding day to feel meaningful, relaxed, and true to who they are. Her work is rooted in connection—capturing real moments, quiet joy, and the in-between details that tell a fuller story.

She needed a website that felt:

  • Intentional but not stiff
  • Romantic without being overdone
  • Professional while still personal

Most importantly, she wanted a site that would grow with her as her business evolves.

The Starting Point

The Abby Rae Showit Template wasn’t originally created for photographers—it was designed with travel planners and influencers in mind. But its clean layout, storytelling-focused sections, and strong visual flow made it an ideal foundation for something more creative.

Rather than starting from scratch, Jessika chose to customize the template to reflect:

  • Her photography style
  • Her approach to elopements
  • The experience she offers couples

This allowed her to move faster while still ending up with a website that feels completely her own.

The Customization Process

The transformation focused on strategy first, then design.

We leaned into:

  • Full-width imagery to showcase emotional storytelling
  • Gentle pacing throughout the homepage to mirror the rhythm of an elopement day
  • Clear calls-to-action that invite couples to take the next step without pressure

The original structure of the template stayed largely intact—but the content, imagery, and emphasis shifted to support a photography-driven experience.

This is where Showit templates really shine: the bones are strong, but the personality is entirely customizable.

Why This Works

Jessika’s site now:

  • Feels aligned with her brand and values
  • Clearly communicates her services and style
  • Builds trust with potential clients before they ever reach out

And from a design perspective, it proves an important point: you don’t need an industry-specific template for it to work beautifully in your industry. You need a well-designed foundation and the freedom to make it your own.

Thinking About Your Own Website?

If you love the look of this site but don’t see a template labeled exactly for your industry, take this as permission to think bigger.

Many of my Showit templates are intentionally designed to be:

  • Adaptable across industries
  • Easy to customize
  • Rooted in clarity, not trends
