I thought it would be a fun exercise to share some obscure facts about myself with you guys! Feel free to ask me anything else in the comments and I’ll get back to you!
What’s your favorite movie?
Oh man this is such a hard question. I love so many movies. My favorite would probably be Inception or Shaun of the Dead. A few movies that I can think of off the top of my head that I have to watch anytime they come on TV: Gladiator, The Patriot, Good Will Hunting and The Departed.
If you could live in any period of history, what would it be?
I always thought it would be so neat to live in the cowboy era, I love riding horses and being and working outdoors. I totally would have rocked it.
What’s your dream occupation – the one job you’d love to have if you weren’t doing what you’re doing now?
Pretty much what Joanna Gaines does. I have always dreamed of flipping houses with my husband. Maybe one day it’ll be feasible, who knows!
Describe your first car and what you loved or hated most about it.
My first car was a volkswagen beetle and it was my dream car!! I wanted one for so long and was so happy when I finally got one when I turned 16. I always loved it, but my father HATED it. He works on our cars and was not a fan of the volkswagen engineering and how much of a pain it was to work on mine verses the rest of our cars which were Toyotas and a Ford.
Owning and running my own business! I like to think I am pretty successful and that I have the capability to be even more successful if I was given the time and opportunity!
Oh geez. Too many to even remember a specific one.
Ketchup. From fast food joints by our office. You never know when you’ll need it if they don’t give you any for your fries!
The Dallas Cowboys and Texas Tech Football! I’m not a crazy fan or anything so probably not that far. haha!
My parents inherited all my pets when I moved in with Robert. He is allergic to animals unfortunately. So my parents one of my cats, two dogs, and my horse. Lucky them, right? All my animals are pretty quirky though! Cali, my cat, has the longest/lankiest body but the tiniest pipsqueak of a meow!
I fricken love the little packets of hostess chocolate donuts. Yes, I know there are way better donuts out there, but I still love them.
I don’t really keep a bucket list, but I do have goals of course that I’d love to achieve. I’ll share those in a future post though!
I haven’t read a series in a while, maybe I need to remedy that. The last series I read was Game of Thrones and it made me want to shoot myself often so I don’t know if I would consider it my favorite, but definitely was a good one!
Scotland! At least I think. Who knows, I’ve never been. But I know it is gorgeous and I LOVE castles. Other than that, I’m pretty content were I’m at, can’t beat Texas!
This is something I’m really working on improving this year. I’m hoping to balance my work and personal life better. Spend more time loving on my family and I know that will make me happier as well.
My best friend, Kendell, she is one of the most amazing people I know. She is always so positive and such an example of being Christ-like. We have been best friends since we were 5 years old when we met in Kindergarten. We can go long periods without much communication but then hang out without skipping a beat. I am so grateful for her continued friendship and I strive to have a relationship with God the same way she does!
Most people call me Jess or Jessica but my dad has always called me Jaybird since I was a little girl. I love it.
